Job summary

Piedmont is seeking a Surgical Technologist to facilitate patient care by assisting physicians during surgeries in the Operating Room. This role requires performing technical and some patient care duties under a Registered Nurse's guidance.

The ideal candidate will have a H.S. Diploma or GED, surgical tech certification, and at least 3 years of experience in surgical services. Responsibilities include maintaining surgical specialties and providing support across multiple service specialty lines.

Qualifications

• Experience in multiple specialties in the Operating Room.
• Current GA LPN License if applicable.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program Required.

Work Experience

• 3 years of experience and Surgical Tech Certification Required.
• In lieu of degree, 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience.

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current GA LPN License, if applicable Upon Hire Required.
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire Required.
