Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville Surgery Department is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to perform scrub role duties and assist the nursing team in providing quality patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technology program, and either CST certification or 3 years of experience. BCLS is required upon hire as part of the care team, with potential preferred CST certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist required or 3 years of surgical tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub role duties and provides patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
