Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to function as a first assistant during operative and invasive procedures. You will work with the surgical team, prepare sterile instruments, and ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout cases.

Required credentials include CST certification, BCLS, and completion of a First Assistant program or equivalent certification. A minimum of 3 years perioperative experience is expected.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited a surgical technologist program. Required and
• completion of didactic and clinical components of the First Assistant program or competency verified by a sponsoring Piedmont surgeon during the orientation period. Required

Work Experience

• 3 years perioperative services experience Required

• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Required and
