Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Specialty Services is hiring for a Surgical Technologist to support scrub duties under the direction of a registered nurse. You will work as part of a surgical team providing patient care across various ages, applying critical thinking and precise technical skills.

BCLS is required, CST preferred, and prior surgical tech experience is valued. This full-time role offers a collaborative environment within Piedmont’s regional system, with opportunities for ongoing growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and Surgical Technology program graduate.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.
• BCLS certification upon hire; CST preferred.

Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program Required

Work Experience

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required or
• 3 years of surgical tech experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Preferred
