Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Surety Account Manager to join our growing team in Clayton, MO. The primary role is to handle day-to-day client service on an assigned book of business, focusing on preparing, issuing, and invoicing surety bonds.

The AM works closely with an AE, communicates via email/phone, inputs financials, and coordinates bond delivery. Two+ years in insurance with surety experience is preferred; requires reliable transportation and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in the insurance industry is required.
• Experience working in surety – particularly issuance and billing of bonds – is preferred.
• Must have a reliable source of transportation.
• MS Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) are required; Epic or Tinubu experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to client requests for bonds, quotes, or other information.
• Communicate with clients to confirm what is needed and when.
• Inform Account Executive of requests requiring attention.
• Maintain open communication with AE about status of items and delivery logistics.
• Input information affecting premium and commission and generate invoices.
• Coordinate delivery method of bonds and invoice the client.
