Job summary

Brown & Brown in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Surety Account Manager to service an assigned book of surety bonds. The role emphasizes client communication, bond issuance, invoicing, and collaboration with an Account Executive to support placement and growth.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in insurance, experience with surety issuance and billing, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Epic or Tinubu experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Experience in surety bonds issuance and billing preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Epic or Tinubu experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to client requests for bonds, quotes, or other information.
• Communicate with clients to confirm or clarify what is needed and when.
• Inform Account Executive of client requests requiring AE's attention.
• Maintain open communication with AE about status of open items.
• Advise AE on client needs requiring routine servicing.
• Accurately input information affecting premium and commission, and generate an invoice.
• Coordinate delivery method of bonds and invoice to client (FedEx, UPS, USPS, courier, or in-person).
• Coordinate logistics and regular drop-offs of envelopes/packages from office or off-site.
• Understand Tinubu and Epic systems used for preparing bonds and processing transactions.
• Provide required execution reporting to the surety company and reconcile differences.
