Job summary

IAT Insurance Group in Naperville, IL seeks a Surety Account Manager to support underwriting partners and agents, handling policy processing, renewals, endorsements, and maintenance. This role acts as a liaison between IAT, agents, and brokers to ensure accurate, responsive service.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with in-office Mon-Wed and optional remote Thu-Fri, emphasizing customer service and process excellence within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship.
• Basic accounting experience.
• Knowledge of underwriting support processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and renewal business into proprietary rating systems.
• Prepare account service documentation and client communications to support underwriting and agent relationships.
• Process renewals by reviewing policy details for accuracy and implementing requested changes.
• Handle endorsements and audit transactions through coordination with agents and underwriters.
• Manage non-renewals and cancellations in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Review correspondence to ensure relevance and accuracy for client needs.
• Maintain bond and account files with proper documentation and record keeping.
