Hilb Group in Woodcliff Lake, NJ is seeking a Surety Account Manager to manage a book of business and handle client commercial insurance needs. This in-office role reports to the agency in Woodcliff Lake and requires strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, able to work autonomously, and capable of leading as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. MS Office proficiency is essential, with a focus on renewal processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree.
• Experience managing book of business.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple clients.
• Detail oriented, resourceful – strong decision‑making skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication – communication written up after every renewal meeting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and client service skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and perform well under pressure.
• Ability to participate both as a team member and as a team leader.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Compensation: $65,000-$80,000/yr.
