Job summary

DePaul in Rochester, NY seeks a Program Manager 1 (Supportive Housing) to oversee the supportive housing site, supervise staff, and ensure quality care for tenants. You will work with referral agencies, assist with financial certifications, and coordinate housing plans while representing DePaul to county and SPOA bodies.

Responsibilities include budgeting, reporting, staff training, tenant intake, lease coordination, and cross-team collaboration to meet DePaul standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or human services plus two years of experience with a special needs population and supervisory experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Human Services plus three years of experience with a special needs population and supervisory experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED plus five years of experience with a special needs population and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent DePaul at Continuum of Care and County SPOA meetings.
• Market the Supportive Housing program throughout the County and with referral agencies.
• Oversee, supervise, and evaluate program staff and maintain tenant housing records.
• Ensure budget adherence, handle program expenditures, and assist with lease processes.
• Coordinate tenant intake, housing support plans, and monthly resident contact.
• Develop positive relationships with community service agencies and government units.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or human services field plus two years of experience working with a special needs’ population (one year of supervisory experience preferred)
