Job summary

Metrocare is seeking an ePEP Supported Employment/Supported Educational Specialist to assist patients with first episode psychosis on the CSC Team. You will provide psychosocial support, offer employment skills training, monitor vocational-related symptoms, and communicate with the CSC Team to maximize each patient’s vocational potential.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field or are a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention; or a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial support to patients in vocational environments.
• Deliver supported employment skills training.
• Monitor symptoms and side effects relative to vocational performance.
• Communicate vocational issues to the providers and CSC Team.
