Job description

West Texas Centers is seeking a highly motivated Supported Education and Employment Specialist (SEES) to join our First Episode Psychosis (FEP) Team. This position provides moderately complex case management services to individuals ages 15-30 experiencing their first episode of psychosis. The SEES plays a vital role in helping participants achieve their education and employment goals while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Starting Pay: $21.84 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supported education and employment services to FEP participants.
  • Maintain a caseload of up to 20 individuals across 23 counties; travel is required.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with clinical staff to meet shared treatment goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, employers, and educational institutions.
  • Assist participants in continuing, resuming, or adapting academic and vocational activities.
  • Conduct community outreach to build partnerships with employers and educational entities.
  • Complete documentation and reports using proficient writing and computer skills.
  • Work flexible hours to meet the needs of clients and families.
Position Requirements:
  • Required: Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have and maintain a Valid Driver's License and driving record that is acceptable for insurability through our insurance carrier.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
  • Applicants must reside within 70-mile radius of duty site.
