Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our Supported Living team, providing person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and autism. The role involves empowering individuals to live as independently as possible while promoting dignity, choice, inclusion, and respect.

As a Support Worker, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care (where required), meal preparation, medication support, household tasks, budgeting, shopping, attending appointments, and participating in social, educational, and recreational activities. You will encourage people to develop life skills, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals in a safe and supportive environment.

You will work closely with families, healthcare professionals, social workers, and other agencies to ensure high-quality care that meets each person's individual needs. Accurate record-keeping, safeguarding responsibilities, and adherence to CQC standards and organisational policies are essential aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate will be caring, patient, flexible, and committed to delivering outstanding support. Previous experience in learning disability or autism services is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. A full UK driving licence is advantageous.
