Job summary

National Care Group is hiring a Support Worker for Oaklea Care Taunton Community. The role involves supporting young adults with complex needs, helping with daily tasks, personal care, and activities to promote independence. A full UK driving licence is required for this position.

You will work within a caring team, building relationships, planning goals, and supporting individuals to live as independently as possible in the community. Training is provided and progression opportunities exist.

We Won Specialist Care Provider 2025! - National Care Group The role of a National Care Group Support WorkerYou will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is a sometimes challenging role but one with huge rewards. You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and then planning goals and ambitions together. You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands. You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication. You will help to plan and participate in any exciting days out they wish to enjoy. You will make a positive impact on someone's life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.
