Job summary

Cygnet Taunton is seeking a Support Worker to join our team in Somerset. You will work 38.5 hours per week in a mental health setting with service users, providing practical and emotional support and maintaining a safe environment.

We offer apprenticeship opportunities, flexible working with overtime, a Cycle to Work scheme, and wellbeing resources. DBS checks and night/weekend shifts are required.

Cygnet Hospital Taunton provides acute inpatient admissions service for men and women and a specialist inpatient service for men diagnosed with a learning disability. In addition a new neuro cognitive service line for men, coming soon.

£13.45 per hour

You’ll be working 38.5 hours a week in mental health setting with mental health service users.

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
