Job summary

Acuity Care Group is seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker in Lincoln to assist a person with complex needs in their family home. Female Support Worker
Pay rate: Weeknight £14 per hour & Weekend nights £15 per hour (Monthly Pay)
Shift Pattern: Waking nights 22:30 - 8:30 across varied nights of the week.
We have a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their family home in Washingborough, Lincoln.
This person has Congenital Nemaline Rod Myopathy, Osteoporosis, and Neuromuscular Kyphoscoliosis with Kyphosis, but this does not define them.
We need people who are local to Lincoln, hold a full UK driver’s license, and own a car.
Enriching activities are an important part of your support, and you will bring a compassionate approach to make a difference in this person’s life.
You should have previous experience in:

  • Complex care
  • Tracheostomy & Ventilator
  • Brain Injury
  • Children's care

What will your shift involve?
You will provide high-quality, 1:1 care, ensuring the individual receives compassionate and tailored support.
This includes engaging in meaningful activities, taking them out in the community to promote social interaction and well-being, and supporting household tasks to maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable environment.
Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner is essential to build trust.
About Acuity Care Group
With nearly 20 years of experience, we support over 900 staff across various roles. We are a Supported Living healthcare provider with three divisions: LD&A (Learning Disabilities & Autism), Bespoke, and Team Brain Injury.
This role is within our Team Brain Injury, supported by an experienced Complex Care Manager.
We work in diverse locations supporting adults and children with complex needs and disabilities, focusing on person-centered care that promotes empowerment and access to new experiences.
