The role
We are seeking committed Disability Support Workers for ongoing shifts in Ellenbrook and surrounding areas. If you have experience in disability support, this job may be great for you!
Shifts with various times available. Only apply if you are available for these shifts.
Essential criteria:
- Epilepsy Trained highly regarded (but not essential)
- Minimum of 12 months paid experience supporting people with disabilities.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must have High Manual Handling experience such as transferring people with electric/manual hoist/Sara Stedy etc.
- Must have High Challenging Behaviour experience such as managing verbal/physical challenging behaviours.
- Comprehensive car insurance and willing to transport clients with your own vehicle.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.
- Covid-19 fully vaccinated.
- Current First Aid (HLTAID003) and CPR (HLTAID001) certificates, or willing to obtain them.
- Employment SA Working with Children’s Check, or willing to obtain one.
- Two relevant, professional, and industry-related reference checks.
- Peg Trained highly regarded (but not essential)
- Bowel & Bladder Trained highly regarded (but not essential)
