  • Must have comprehensive car insurance and ability to transport clients.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with disabilities in various settings.
  • Transport clients using personal vehicle as required.
  • Manage verbal/physical challenging behaviours.

We are seeking committed Disability Support Workers forongoingshiftsin Butler and surrounding areas.If you have experience in disability support, this job may be great for you!

Essential criteria:

  • Epilepsy Trained highly regarded (but not essential)
  • Minimum of 12months paid experiencein supporting people with disabilities.
  • Must haveexcellent communication skills.
  • Must haveHigh Manual Handling experience such as transferring people with electric/manual hoist/Sara Stedy etc.
  • Must have High Challenging Behaviour experience such as managing verbal/physical challenging behaviours.
  • Comprehensive car insurance and willing to transport clients with your own vehicle.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.
  • Covid-19 fully vaccinated.
  • CurrentFirst Aid(HLTAID003) andCPR(HLTAID001) certificate, or willing to obtain one.
  • Employment SA Working with Children’s Check,or willing to obtain one.
  • Two relevant, professional and industry related reference checks.
  • Peg Trained highly regarded (but not essential)
  • Bowel & Bladder Trained highly regarded (but not essential)
