Position Information

The School of Medicine’s Student Affairs team at the University of California, Riverside seeks a compassionate and skilled Support & Wellness Specialist (Health Educator 3) to advance learner well-being across undergraduate and graduate medical education.

The position designs and delivers holistic wellness programming focused on stress management, mental health, nutrition, and work–life balance.

The Specialist provides individual support sessions, promotes personal wellness planning through the eight dimensions of wellness, and connects students to appropriate campus and community mental health resources.

Working collaboratively with the Directors of Support & Wellness and Graduate Medical Education, this role helps create a culture of care, inclusion, and resilience for medical students, residents, and fellows.

The UCR School of Medicine’s Student Affairs department is dedicated to fostering belonging, supporting academic and personal success, and developing future physicians who value wellness as an integral part of professional excellence.

The full salary range for the Support & Wellness Specialist is $68,500 - $121,900 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $95,200 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
