Base pay range

$28.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Inviting applications for the role of Support Technician - Aviation

Responsibilities

1. 24/7/365 Operation providing technical, logistics and diagnostics support to internal and external customers.
2. Provides aircraft on ground (AOG) coverage.
3. Analysis capabilities to interpret and clarify technical manuals, service bulletins, and repair procedures.
4. Resolve tooling and support equipment questions and troubleshoot engine systems.
5. Process customer requests for assignment to applicable subject matter experts.
6. Provide AOG parts availability and quotations.
7. Coordinate with Distribution Center for AOG parts orders.
8. Monitor phone lines and direct customer inquiries to the appropriate teams/departments.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
2. Ability to work independently
3. Excellent PC skills, experience using MS Office, MS Outlook and Excel.
4. Must be able to work on weekends and 2nd shift as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in Aerospace/Airline operations.
2. General understanding of gas turbine systems and operating principles.
3. Acceptable candidates must provide one of the following certifications:
4. Preference given for mechanical/aerospace related study or experienced aviation technician.
5. Alternate to an A&P Certificate is experience in military aircraft maintenance.
