Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist with program recruitment and outreach.
  • Complete annual IEPs and needs assessments for participants.
  • Develop and implement co-curricular programs for students and families.
  • Provide weekly after-school tutoring support.
  • Support monthly Saturday Instruction Sessions.
  • Assist with summer program planning and activities.
  • Guide students on college admissions and financial aid processes.
  • Maintain participant files and program documentation.
  • Track promotion, retention, and graduation of participants.
  • Contribute to pre- and post-program evaluations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Support Staff MemberLocation: Del Valle, TXPay Rate: $21.25/hourJob SummaryWe are seeking a Support Staff Member to assist with the coordination and delivery of an educational support program serving students and their families. This position will support student recruitment, academic advising, programming, college preparation, participant documentation, and educational activities.The ideal candidate will have experience working with academic support programs and students, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with program recruitment and outreach efforts.Complete annual Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and needs assessments for new and continuing participants.Develop and implement engaging co-curricular programs for students and parents/guardians, including workshops, educational trips, and special events.Provide assistance with weekly after-school academic tutoring.Assist the Program Director with monthly Saturday Instruction Sessions.Assist with summer program planning and activities.Provide students with information and guidance regarding college admissions and financial aid processes.Support senior participants in taking appropriate steps toward high school graduation and college enrollment.Assist the Program Director with maintaining accurate participant files and program documentation.Ensure appropriate participant services and contacts are accurately entered into the student database.Verify and track promotion, retention, and graduation of current participants.Assist with pre- and post-program evaluations for participants and parents/guardians.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.Experience working with academic support programs, including academic advising and college exploration/application processes.Experience developing and coordinating student programs, events, educational trips, and workshops.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively with students, parents/guardians, staff, and community partners.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to maintain accurate and confidential participant records.Compensation$21.25 per hourScheduleSchedule will be based on program needs and may include after-school hours, occasional Saturdays, and summer programming.KeyStaff, Inc Since 2004.
