Easterseals NH is hiring for 2027 Summer Camp Support Staff to provide cleaning, housekeeping, and light laundry tasks to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for campers and staff at Camp Sno-Mo. This role requires a high school diploma, relevant experience, and ability to work split shifts during the camp season.

Qualifications

• 1 year of housekeeping or related hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and infection control preferred.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations preferred.
• Ability to work independently while following policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Must be able to work split shifts with day/evening coverage.
• First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain it.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and floor care to camper-ready standards.
• Clean and service hallways, common areas, and rooms on a regular cadence with sanitizing routines.
• Complete laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and stocking linens.
• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments across assigned areas.
• Inform Camp Administration about inventory of cleaning supplies and coordinate orders.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and equipment policies at all times.
• Report safety or maintenance concerns to Camp Administration promptly.
• Collaborate with Camp Admin and Counselors for efficient operations.
• Respect coworkers and campers, maintaining a positive attitude.

Easterseals NH is excited to announcing hiring for 2027 Summer Camp! Support Staff perform a broad range of cleaning, housekeeping and support duties for Camp Sno-Mo in order to provide clean, safe, and hospitable environment for campers, counselors, visitors, and other critical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one (1) year previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and infection control procedures preferred
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations preferred
• Ability to work independently while adhering to policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to work split shifts (intermittent work throughout the day and evening with breaks between assigned shifts)
• First Aid/CPR certification or ability to become certified
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and floor care services throughout assigned areas to ensure camper-ready conditions and positive customer experiences.
• Clean and service hallways, common areas, and rooms on a regular cadence to meet program standards, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing bathrooms, and cleaning / restocking dishes and cookware.
• Complete laundry operations tasks, including but not limited to, washing, drying, folding, sorting linens, delivery and stocking of linens in assigned campers and spaces.
• Meet program standards for guest room, community space, front lobby, and other assigned areas to ensure clean, safe, and welcoming environments.
• Inform Camp Administration of inventory of necessary cleaning supplies, linens and personal care items, etc. Partner with Camp Admin for ordering needs.
• Maintain quality control standards to ensure compliance with state licensing and operating standards.
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
• Follow all program/department, safety, sanitation, and equipment rules or policies.
• Report any safety and maintenance concerns to Camp Admin.
• Report any cross-contamination issues to Camp Admin to initiate corrective measures.
• Communicate and collaborate with Camp Admin and Counselors to ensure efficient operations.
• Be respectful of coworkers and campers while maintaining a positive attitude.

Compensation

$3,000 for the 2027 camp season
