Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Support Services Supervisor to join our Durham, NC facility. You will oversee the non-technical staff in Pathology Support Services, train personnel, and ensure smooth workflow across shifts.

This role requires an Associate degree and 3+ years in a lab/healthcare setting; preferred candidates have 1+ year supervisory experience and color vision testing readiness. We emphasize accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• 3+ years in a laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Preferred: 6 months or more of experience in a clinical laboratory.
• Preferred: 1 year or more experience supervising or leading a team.
• Strong computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily workflow, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts in the lab and schedule adequate coverage.
• Performs department employee payroll functions in Workday.
• Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary.
• Engage in continuous process and service level improvements.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance records and documents.
• Meet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching and feedback for their development.
• Responsible for administering and managing policies and procedures.
• Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.

LabCorp is seeking a Support Services Supervisor to join our team at our facility in Durham, NC.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 6:30pm

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
