Primary Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Support Services Project Manager for our premier client in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

What You’ll Need
Technical Requirements and Certifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
Education And Experience
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership role, such as a previous project management role, supervisory role, or other management role.
  • Experience with electronic document management projects.
  • Experience with operations, technology implementation, and change management.
  • Strong skills in collaborating with people who have different roles.
  • Expert communication skills to create optimal collaboration.
  • Proven record in sourcing resources, using effective strategies, clarifying goals for the team and guiding the project’s idea into a tangible entity.
  • Keeping the team in check and meeting deadlines to complete the project in its set timeframe.
  • Ability to keep records of progress, collect data and file reports of the project’s status.
  • Proven record of adhering to a budget.
Desirable
  • Experience with State Government project management a plus.
What You’ll Do
Job Responsibilities
  • Planning and executing project communications with project team, key agency stakeholders, and outside vendors.
  • Preparing and sending submittals and deliverables, including the Project Management Work Plan, Progress Reports, and comprehensive Roadmap.
  • Coordinating meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Conducting data gathering sessions.
  • Optimizing resources for cost savings.
  • Maintaining all project records.
  • Providing day-to-day project management support.
  • Analyzing project risk and issues, helping identify ways to mitigate risks.
  • Conducting cost/benefit analysis.
  • Presenting assessment findings to agency and recommending a phased approach that includes priorities and estimated cost that address desired outcomes.
