Job Title: Support Services Project Manager

Task and Skills (Scope of Work to be Performed):

1. The Office of Technology Services (OTS) was established as a means of recognizing cost savings through the consolidation of State IT assets and resources. The creation of OTS consolidated a wide variety of existing hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems, networks, third party software, and custom applications.
2. OTS leads the State’s technology procurement process in order to standardize technology over the entire organization, seek efficiencies of operations, maintenance, and scalability of new products introduced to the OTS suite of services which can eventually be offered to all in-scope agencies.

The scope of the proposed services will include the following:

• Provide day-to-day project management support
• Create and publish project documentation, including project status reports, project schedules and plans, risks, issues and other documentation, as needed
• Plan for utilization of resources
• Meet with Management and Users to understand project goals and milestones
• Track Project milestones and deliverables throughout project life-cycle
• Provide and maintain detailed software/hardware maintenance documentation
• Act as liaison on behalf of OTS and in-scope agencies
• Create end user documentation and training as needed
• Provide technical knowledge transfer, training and documentation to OTS and DPS-LSP staff for all requested work, as needed

Qualifications:
Qualifications

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

• 5+ years of experience in managing projects

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

• Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and Law Enforcement technology projects
• Project management with State of Louisiana
• PMP certification
• SCRUM Master certification
• Managing large scale projects with many teams and stakeholders.
