Albemarle County's Department of Information Technology seeks a Support Services Manager, the first-line supervisor for Support Services and Audio-Visual staff, overseeing end-user hardware operation, maintenance, security planning, and deployment to meet Local Government needs.

Qualifications

• Five or more years combined experience as an Information Technology manager or as a senior level information technology Support Services professional.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in an enterprise technology environment is ideal.
• Additional education may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and plans daily activities of Support Services staff and interns/contractors.
• Oversees deployment of new technology and software across local government.
• Manages budget items related to operations like computer replacement and AV operations.
