Job summary

ATB Technologies, LLC, a St. Louis MSP, is offering a full-time summer internship for students to build a foundation in IT support on our Help Desk. The role centers on technical support, ticketing, and client communication within a modern MSP environment.

Interns will shadow other departments, observe project scoping, and gain exposure to on-site client visits. The program runs 12 weeks, starting 5/17/2027 and ending 8/6/2027, with on-site work at our Chesterfield office.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Network Administration, Cybersecurity).
• Preferred graduation date: December 2027, May 2028 or December 2028.
• Enthusiastic about technology and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency with Windows, Mac, and mobile devices.
• Familiarity with networking and cloud technologies is a plus.
• Actively pursuing or holding relevant IT certifications is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for client systems, software, and hardware.
• Respond to incoming support requests with professionalism and clear communication.
• Document issues and resolutions thoroughly in our ticketing system.
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems, including desktops, servers, firewalls, and networking equipment.
• Assist in identifying and implementing solutions to customer issues.
• Participate in follow-ups and elevate issues internally when needed.

This full-time summer internship is ideal for students who want to build a strong foundation in IT support while gaining exposure to the broader operations of a modern MSP. In addition, interns will have opportunities to shadow other departments, attend on-site client visits, and observe how projects are scoped, implemented, and supported.

This internship opportunity will be offered during the Summer of 2027 and is open to eligible college students who meet the program requirements. Interns are expected to work40 hours per week on-siteat our Chesterfield office. This is a 12-week internship program with an anticipated start date of 5/17/2027 and an end date of 8/6/2027.
