Job summary

ATB Technologies in Chesterfield, MO seeks a motivated student for a 12-week Summer Internship on our Help Desk team. The paid internship offers hands-on IT support exposure, ticketing workflow, and client communications.

You'll shadow other departments, observe project scoping and implementation, and work 40 hours per week on-site at our Chesterfield office, with an anticipated start on 2027-05-17 and end on 2027-08-06.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for client systems, software, and hardware.

• Monitor and troubleshoot systems, including desktops, servers, firewalls, and networking equipment.
• Assist in identifying and implementing solutions to customer issues.
• Participate in follow-ups and elevate issues internally when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Network Administration, Cybersecurity).
• Preferred graduation date: December 2027, May 2028 or December 2028.
• Enthusiastic about technology and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency with Windows, Mac, and mobile devices.
• Familiarity with networking and cloud technologies is a plus.
• Actively pursuing or holding relevant IT certifications is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
