Job description

Schedule: works 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., with flexibility to cover evening hours.

  1. Associate degree with 3-5 years of related experience (preferred).
  2. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  3. Previous relevant experience, preferably in a clinical laboratory.
  4. Prior supervisory or leadership experience (preferred).
  5. Familiarity with laboratory operations, policies, and procedures (preferred).
  6. Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. High attention to detail, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  9. Strong critical thinking skills and decision-making ability in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise daily operations of non-technical staff.
  2. Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens.
  3. Supervise, train, and mentor non-technical personnel.
  4. Monitor workflow and ensure adequate staffing.
  5. Ensure proper staffing across shifts.
  6. Research and resolve production errors, escalating as needed.
  7. Engage in process and service level improvements.
  8. Perform quality assurance checks for efficiency and accuracy.
  9. Maintain quality assurance records.
  10. Conduct regular coaching and feedback sessions with staff.
  11. Administer policies and procedures.
  12. Manage payroll and personnel records.
  13. Perform administrative duties as needed.
