Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a Support Route Driver in Collinsville, IL to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations. The role demands flexibility as routes shift and may include overtime; starting pay is $20–$24 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours.

The position requires a valid driver's license, ability to operate a manual transmission, and a customer-service mindset. The route will move to St. Louis, MO in September 2026, with potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned route based on business needs.
• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck in an organized manner to effectively use space and prevent damage to packages.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of any problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional personal appearance as well as cleanliness of vehicle.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
