Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Support Route Driver to fill in on open routes and assist with daily delivery operations. This role requires flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while maintaining safety, service, and delivery standards.

The position offers Monday–Friday hours with OT and occasional weekend OT. Starting wage ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned route based on business needs.
• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck in an organized manner to effectively use space and prevent damage to packages.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Travel may be required; perform other related duties as assigned.
