Job summary

The position involves loading the truck, inspecting the vehicle, collecting payments on select shipments, and maintaining a professional appearance. Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, with paid overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Strong customer service and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers.
• Inspect vehicle for mechanical issues and report problems.
• Load the truck to maximize space and protect packages.
• Collect payments for certain packages.
• Verify pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
