Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery, a family‑owned carrier based in St. Cloud, MN, is hiring a Support Route Driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations. You will cover flexible routes while maintaining safety and service standards.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the willingness to learn manual transmission. Starting wage is $20.00–$24.00 per hour, with OT eligibility and weekend options noted in the hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission, or willingness to learn.
• Good customer service and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned route based on business needs.
• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck in an organized manner to effectively use space and prevent damage to packages.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of any problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional personal appearance as well as cleanliness of vehicle.
• Travel May be required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
