Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Support Route Driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while maintaining safety, service, and on-time deliveries.

Work hours are Monday–Friday starting at 7:30 AM until route completion, with overtime and optional weekend work. The position starts at $20–$24 per hour and includes benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover open or unassigned routes as needed.
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report mechanical issues on the vehicle.
• Load the truck efficiently to maximize space and protect packages.
• Collect payments for select packages delivered.
• Verify contents of pickups against shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
• Travel may be required; perform other duties as assigned.
