Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a dependable Support Route Driver to fill in on open routes and support daily operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while maintaining safety, service, and delivery standards.

Hours and pay include Monday–Friday from 7:30 AM until route completion, with 10–15 hours of overtime expected weekly and optional weekend OT. Starting wage is $20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned route based on business needs
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle
• Load the truck in an organized manner to effectively use space and prevent damage to packages
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers
• Notify management of any problems or discrepancies
• Maintain professional personal appearance as well as cleanliness of vehicle
• Travel may be required
• Perform other related duties as assigned
