Job summary

Five Below in Cookeville, TN is seeking a Store Manager on Duty who can lead daily store operations, guide staff, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience for every guest. You’ll oversee opening/closing, cash handling, and on-the-floor supervision while partnering with the leadership team on merchandising and guest service.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of management experience, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Frequently operate cash register.
• Supervise store associates to ensure quality customer service.
• Assist with receiving and organizing new stock for floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations.
• Open or close the store, manage cash, doors, and alarms.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stockroom organization.
