Job summary

Benefis Health System in Montana is seeking a friendly and organized team member to perform customer service functions in the medical office setting.

You will handle pressure to meet deadlines, assist patients with billing and scheduling duties, and ensure compliance with licensure and Benefis policies. Starting wage is $18.64/hour, non-exempt, with wage based on applicable experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years medical office experience preferred.
• Health insurance and patient billing experience preferred.
• Completion of medical terminology course required within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Completion of Clarivate Patient Access II Education Packet within 3 months of hire/transfer.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health system organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent Minimum of two (2) years medical office experience preferred.
• Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred.
• Completion of medical terminology course required within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Completion of Clarivate Patient Access II Education Packet within 3 months of hire/transfer.
