Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Support Engineer for a 6+ month contract in Iselin, NJ (Hybrid). The candidate will provide L1/L2 support for COLLINE-based collateral management systems, with strong Unix, Shell scripting, and SQL skills.

Experience with Vermeg, SWIFT/AcadiaSoft connectivity, and batch monitoring is preferred. The role requires DR coordination, change management, and cross-functional collaboration in complex banking environments, including disaster recovery exercises.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 production support and incident management.
• Maintain Collateral Management COLLINE with Unix, Shell scripting, and SQL.
• Support integration with Vermeg third-party agents and SWIFT/AcadiaSoft connectivity.
• Perform change management and process optimization for high-quality production support.
• Coordinate disaster recovery activities and DR tests.
• Monitor Tidal batch jobs and assist with automation/release scripts.

Position type: Contract

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Iselin, NJ 08830 (Hybrid)

As a Support Engineer, you will:

• Support Engineer with 10+ years of overall experience in financial services and technology domains.
• Proven expertise in Collateral Management (COLLINE) strong technical proficiency in Unix, Shell scripting, and SQL.
• Highly skilled and expert in all technical aspects of Colline application (System setup, Vendor Vermeg Third-Party Agent, Third-Party Custodian, Databases and SWIFT/AcadiaSoft connectivity), user support.
• Good to have prior experience with Global one, FIS Phase 3 vendor applications.
• Unix & Shell Scripting: Hands‑on expertise in developing, testing, and deploying scripts for automation and release management.
• Experienced with Tidal jobs for batch monitoring.
• Experienced in change management, process optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver high‑quality Production support in complex banking environments.
• Experienced in coordinating Disaster Recovery Exercise.

• Help in coordinating/Managing DR flips
• Supporting Tidal jobs for batch monitoring.
• Proven expertise in Collateral Management (COLLINE) strong technical proficiency in Unix, Shell scripting, and SQL.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range and Benefits

$70 - $74 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
