Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an IAM Engineer for a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC and other U.S. locations. The engineer will design, implement, and maintain core identity infrastructure, including AD DS and Entra ID, with strong focus on secure authentication and federation.

The role requires experience with RadiantOne and VDS, plus participation in disaster recovery planning and audits. Expect a 12-month contract with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining AD DS as a core enterprise directory service.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID including cloud identity and login/federation management.
• Familiarity with Virtual Directory Services (VDS), RadiantOne preferred for aggregating identity data.
• Experience supporting disaster recovery planning and compliance/audit processes for identity systems.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an IAM Engineer

Title: IAM Engineer
Position type: Full Time – Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Charlotte, NC, Columbus, OH, Irving, TX, Minneapolis, MN, Chandler, AZ (Hybrid-03 days onsite and 02 day Remote)

As an IAM Engineer, You will:

• Active Directory (AD DS): Design, build, and maintain the company's core directory service (the system that manages users, computers, and permissions).
• Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD): Manage cloud-based identity, authentication, and login/federation services.
• Identity synchronization: Keep user data consistent across different systems.
• Virtual Directory Services (VDS), especially RadiantOne: Manage tools that pull identity data from multiple sources and present it as one unified directory, so different applications can talk to each other securely.
• Stability & security: Keep these systems reliable, secure, and running smoothly.
• Disaster recovery & audits: Make sure there's a backup plan if something fails, and that systems meet compliance/audit requirements.
• Modernization: Help plan and execute upgrades or improvements to identity infrastructure over time.
• Monitoring: Keep an eye on system health (this is a supporting task, not the main focus).

Ideal Candidate

• Hands‑on experience designing, building, and maintaining Active Directory (AD DS) as a core enterprise directory service, including user, computer, and permissions management

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range: $65/hr to $70/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
