Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is working with a well-resourced SEN school in Epping that caters to both primary and secondary pupils. They are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision on a full-time, long-term basis, with an ASAP start.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support, help with communication and engagement, and work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP targets, while maintaining a calm, supportive learning environment.

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Willing to support personal care where needed and work across primary and secondary age groups.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes.

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN schools in Epping that caters for both primary and secondary‑aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible. This person will work in small groups or 1:1 with children who have a range of needs.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs
• Calm, patient and resilient approach
• Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups
• Confident supporting non‑verbal or limited communication pupilsWilling to support personal care where needed
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and strong mainstream TAs looking to move into a specialist setting are encouraged to apply.
