Job summary

What you will do

As a Supply Planner, you will develop and maintain end-to-end supply plans for assigned manufacturing sites and third-party suppliers within your franchise. You will partner closely with Production, Procurement, Finance, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Customer Service, and site leadership to ensure a balanced, data-driven approach to supply planning. You will play a key role in aligning supply, capacity, inventory, and demand strategies to support business objectives, service requirements, and long-term growth. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and divisional teams, you will help ensure the right product is available at the right place and time while optimizing inventory and resource utilization.

• Create a Master Resource Plan based on the latest demand signal to cover what needs to be produced or purchased as a finished product and ensure that within the process there is sufficient raw materials and components to support the required supply plan up to 24 months’ time horizon
• Create capacity plans based on the latest demand signal and identify where there is any potential bottlenecks or risks to supply and to develop and recommend appropriate proposals to mitigate and to ensure that the plant or 3rd party can meet the future demand
• Identify where there is significant underutilization which could impact the costs of supply
• Develop a supply plan across a complex portfolio and multiple sites if required as franchise maturity develops
• Work on capability building as part of cross functional teams and add expertise in creating the optimal solutions
• Set the correct levels of inventory within the supply plan by understanding the demand volatility and supply chain lead times
• Create a safety stock strategy and plan that enables continuity of product availability at the optimal level of cash investment
• Ensure that the supply plan is financially evaluated with regard to balancing the requirement of consistent product availability versus the cost of supply and the investment needed in conjunction with financial partners to ensure meeting the operational budgets and targets
• Track the execution of the supply plan with production scheduling and buying so ensuring that the plan is fully operationalized and tracked for performance deviation; this to include mitigation on back orders and pro-active communication of future supply risks

Requirements

• Required - Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain Management or related 2+ years of experience ERP systems experience

Preferred

• Preferred - Production, supply or demand planning role SAP experience Lean Six Sigma experience Strong analytical skills - highly preferred Experience using Power BI - highly preferred

$69,800 - $106,900 USD Annual Travel Percentage: 10%

Work Flexibility Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
