So, what’s the day-to-day?

• Receive a wide variety of IT inventory shipments and packages; unload, inspect, stock, and capture data codes using a scanner and other equipment
• Keep our IT and physical inventory well organized, at times using a pallet jack to lift 100+ pounds of heavy equipment and a wide variety of office supplies on a regular basis
• Accurately enter equipment information and asset tags into an inventory control system
• Assist in proactively improving our inventory processes and procedures, we want to get better and we want to hear from you!

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree and 5 years inventory management related experience; or equivalency.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Knowledge of inventory state and university policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and program services. Knowledge of equipment and inventory control practices and procedures to include developing and maintaining an inventory warehouse control system with physical stocking and staging work in process for projects and understanding and knowledge of audio-visual equipment, related accessories, installation requirements and tooling for technicians. Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures applicable to property and inventory. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and to communicate effectively with USC /DoIT managers, technicians, design engineers, and vendor representatives. Ability to effectively plan and organize. Strong skills using Microsoft Office tools. Experience in customer service duties including contacting vendor for shipping info, warranty returns, maintenance, and damage claims.
