A bachelor’s degree and 5 years inventory management related experience; or equivalency.
Knowledge of inventory state and university policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and program services. Knowledge of equipment and inventory control practices and procedures to include developing and maintaining an inventory warehouse control system with physical stocking and staging work in process for projects and understanding and knowledge of audio-visual equipment, related accessories, installation requirements and tooling for technicians. Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures applicable to property and inventory. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and to communicate effectively with USC /DoIT managers, technicians, design engineers, and vendor representatives. Ability to effectively plan and organize. Strong skills using Microsoft Office tools. Experience in customer service duties including contacting vendor for shipping info, warranty returns, maintenance, and damage claims.
