Job summary

Crystalia Glass LLC in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Supply Engineering Team Lead to scale procurement operations and mentor a four-person team of Supply Engineers.

You will balance 80% leadership with 20% hands-on sourcing, coordinate with Sales, Project Managers, and Engineers, and manage supplier relationships across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

The role offers influence on procurement processes, cost optimization, and ensuring materials meet project specs across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a procurement/engineering procurement role on the US market.
• Previous people management or team leadership experience.
• Experience with procurement, sourcing, and import/export of engineering materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Fluent English is a must; Russian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of four Supply Engineers.
• Coordinate procurement activities across production, warehouse and installation.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Plan inventory, forecast procurement needs, and review technical drawings for material lists.
• Ensure materials meet project specifications and documentation and track procurement changes.
• Drive continuous improvement of procurement workflows and supplier performance.
