We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist I to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in base line data analytics, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), project management, sourcing, and negotiation to optimize procurement processes and ensure the seamless flow of goods and services. The Supply Chain Specialist I will be more tactically focused on supporting operations, balancing multiple priorities while proactively identifying and mitigating challenges to ensure seamless part availability while working across cross-functional teams.

Your Role in Our Mission:

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and improve part delivery and inventories.
  • Utilize MRP, non-MRP, and/or KANBAN systems to plan and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely availability of materials.
  • Lead and manage procurement-related projects, including supplier onboarding and improvement initiatives.
  • Source parts of low to medium value and low to medium complexity and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Negotiate pricing agreements to achieve favorable terms while maintaining strong supplier relationships for the portion of the supply base making up 20% of our annual spend.
  • Monitor supply chain risks to address potential disruptions proactively.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, such as production and logistics, to align buying activities with organizational goals, including procurement groups
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated basic to intermediate data analytics skills using tools like PowerBI, Excel, etc.

To Perform this Job Successfully:

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field, or 5-7 years of hands-on experience.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data Excel and/or PowerBi analytics tools and MRP software
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain concepts and best practices
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP).
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies.
  • Experience in global sourcing and supplier management.
  • Experience in EPICOR ERP System with MRP and Kanban management
