Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks a Supply Chain Services Coordinator to develop, implement, and manage a supply help system for the hospital’s specialty areas. You will serve as a liaison with Cath Lab/GI and L&D to optimize supply flows and inventory.

The role requires coordinating par levels, managing cost savings, and maintaining accurate supply records. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a related role.
• 2 years of college education preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Builds and maintains par level systems for procedure-specific departments within the hospital. Verifies deliveries and assigns products to the correct department.
• Provides resource help for expense reduction opportunities. Documents monthly supply cost savings and inventory reductions.
• Maintains records such as requisition dates, delivery verifications, invoice price confirmations, back-orders, and implant pricing.
• Processes department-specific supply and implant requisitions and verifies accuracy. Monitors delivery dates with department staff.
• Helps maintain inventory by reducing stock while ensuring stores and special orders are covered.
• Performs regular checks of expiration dates and handles removal, replacement, and documentation as directed by leadership and SCS Director.

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Services Service Line Coordinator develops, implements, and manages a supply help system. This system meets the needs of the facility's specialty area. The coordinator serves as a departmental liaison for SCS with key departments including Cath Lab/GI and L&D.

Essential Functions Of The Role

• Builds and maintains par level systems for procedure-specific departments within the hospital. Confirms accurate receiving of products for specific departments. Verifies hospital deliveries and delivers to the appropriate department.
• Provides resource help for expense reduction opportunities. Documents monthly supply cost savings and inventory reductions.
• Maintains records like requisition dates, delivery verifications, invoice price confirmation, back-orders, and implant pricing. Ensures accurate tracking of supply data, including back-orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, and lot numbers.
• Processes department-specific supply and implant requisitions. Confirms accuracy of requisitions. Monitors delivery date expectations. Works with department staff to ensure implant information accuracy.
• Helps maintain inventory by reducing it while keeping enough supplies for stores and special orders.
• Performs regular checks of expiration dates. Handles removal, replacement, and documentation as directed by department leadership and SCS Director.

Key Success Factors
