Target in Rialto, CA seeks a Safety Manager for our Food Distribution Center. You will own the site safety program, lead hazard assessments, and drive regulatory compliance across OSHA/EPA requirements.

Collaboration with HR, Claims, and vendors is essential to maintain a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and proven leadership in safety operations, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• OSHA standard knowledge, response, and applicability to safety goals.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills (root cause thinking).

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the site safety program at the Rialto facility.
• Conduct hazard assessments, data analysis, and Leader Standard Work.
• Lead regulatory visits (OSHA/EPA/Fire) and remediation efforts.
• Coordinate with HR, vendors, and Claims teams on safety initiatives.
• Develop and implement a strategic site safety action plan.
