Job summary

Riverstone Logistics seeks a seasoned Safety Leader to drive the company’s safety strategy across warehouse, transportation, and logistics operations. You will develop, implement, and continuously improve programs that protect Extra Milers, contractors, customers, and assets while upholding safety as a core value.

You will ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, and state regulatory compliance, manage risk through audits and training, and partner with Operations to reduce risk while improving performance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of safety management or leadership experience.
• Relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, and related environments is required.
• Multi-site operations experience is preferred.
• OSHA 30 or OSHA 10 certifications are preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the corporate safety strategy.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, and state regulatory compliance.
• Manage OSHA recordkeeping and workers’ compensation process.
• Conduct facility audits and risk assessments.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs.
• Partner with Operations to reduce risk while improving performance.
• Lead Safety Committees and Extra Milers engagement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain safety dashboards.
• Support new facility startups and operational improvements.
