Job summary

LV Search Partners is seeking a Project & Supply Chain Manager in Las Vegas to coordinate customer projects from receipt through final delivery, manage product development activities, schedules, documentation, production transitions, and ongoing customer communication.

In this hands-on role you will help design processes, tools, and team structures to support growth, leading cross-functional collaboration with Planning, Purchasing, Inventory, Production, and Logistics.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in project management, customer operations, supply chain, or a related area.
• Experience overseeing customer-facing projects and coordinating cross-functional schedules from intake through final delivery.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and address risks, delays, and missed commitments professionally.
• Strong organizational, communication, judgment, and follow-through skills.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is strongly preferred.

Job description

The Project & Supply Chain Manager is responsible for coordinating customer projects and orders from initial receipt through final delivery. This hands-on position oversees product development activities, project schedules, documentation, production transitions, and ongoing customer communication.

Because this is a newly created position within a growing organization, the individual will also contribute to developing the processes, tools, communication routines, and team structure required to support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Project Coordination

• Receive and organize new project requests and facilitate internal kickoff meetings to establish project scope, deadlines, deliverables, and ownership.
• Develop and maintain project schedules covering development, customer approval, production, and final delivery.
• Coordinate artwork, product specifications, samples, approvals, and supporting documentation while ensuring project information remains accurate and current.
• Act as the primary contact for routine customer communication, including progress updates, outstanding questions, schedule adjustments, and required follow-up.
• Oversee the transition from product development to execution by confirming that specifications, approvals, and other requirements are complete.
• Monitor deadlines, responsibilities, and outstanding action items to ensure commitments remain visible and are completed across departments.

Order and Supply Chain Management

• Oversee repeat customer orders from receipt through shipment, verifying quantities, order requirements, requested delivery dates, and shipping instructions.
• Provide Planning with complete and accurate order information to support production scheduling.
• Partner with Planning, Purchasing, Inventory, Production, Warehouse, and Logistics to monitor material availability, shortages, manufacturing progress, capacity, and anticipated shipment dates.
• Communicate confirmed production and delivery schedules to customers and maintain follow-up through completion, including the preparation of weekly open-order reports.
• Identify potential delays involving materials, inventory, capacity, production, or delivery and assist the appropriate teams in developing recovery plans.
• Serve as a central point of coordination among Commercial, Planning, Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, and customer-facing teams.
• Recognize project and supply-related risks early, reinforce ownership of next steps, and escalation issues when additional decisions or support are required.
• Lead focused status meetings that clearly communicate accomplishments, upcoming milestones, overdue actions, potential risks, and decisions that need to be made.
• Establish productive working relationships and consistent communication practices that help projects and orders progress efficiently.

Process Development and Continuous Improvement

• Support the development of this new function by establishing practical and scalable processes for project intake, tracking, order administration, departmental handoffs, and customer updates.
• Create and improve trackers, reports, and other tools that provide clear visibility into priorities, risks, timelines, and customer commitments.

Required Skills and Experience

• Three to five years of relevant experience in project management, customer operations, supply chain, order administration, manufacturing, or a related area.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing customer-facing projects and coordinating cross-functional schedules from initial intake through final delivery.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and address risks, delays, and missed commitments in a professional and constructive manner.
• Strong organizational, communication, judgment, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and changing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with enterprise resource planning systems. SAP experience is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working in a growing, hands-on organization where procedures and systems are still being developed.
