Job Description
RevMax is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to lead inventory strategy, production planning, and supplier performance management. This role will oversee ERP-based stocking strategies, drive improvements in inventory accuracy, and implement practices that optimize warehouse space and resource use. The ideal candidate will analyze inventory and supply chain metrics to enhance operational efficiency and generate key reports including month-end, aging, and excess inventory. This position also plays a critical role in managing supplier relationships and collaborating with operations and customer service teams to meet production and fulfillment goals.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain stocking strategies within the ERP system to ensure accurate MRP output.
- Implement practices that optimize inventory on-hand, minimize warehouse space and personnel requirements, and improve inventory accuracy.
- Assess and manage supplier performance metrics.
- Manage business relationships with suppliers; develop work plans, communicate strategies, and resolve performance issues.
- Oversee production planning and material reporting, identifying priorities, concerns, and risks in coordination with plant operations and customer service teams to meet or exceed expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies.
- Analyze inventory levels and metrics to recommend improvements in supply chain efficiency and overall company profitability.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, focusing on part quality and on-time delivery.
- Prepare and maintain mathematical inventory models and ensure accurate calculations.
- Use customer forecasts and supplier performance data to inform order strategies; adjust ERP inventory parameters (e.g., minimum stock levels) accordingly.
- Generate inventory analysis reports, including month-end inventory, aging, excess, and obsolete inventory reports, as well as other related reports.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience
- 5-10 Years of high performance, results oriented work experience in high mix machining environment
- Substantial experience in a production planning
Computer Skills
Exceptional Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel & PowerPoint Presentations)
Communication Skills
Precise communication skills, both written and verbal, to work with colleagues effectively and professionally in supply chain and the community.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low
- Personal protective equipment is required including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
