Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria, IL is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to perform operational and tactical work to meet plant material deliverables. This role processes job requisitions and supports supply chain, sourcing, cost analyses and contract/purchase order generation.

You will work with master planners on outsourcing, lead supplier selection, and maintain supply chain application systems. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent experience desired.
• Experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP and production planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with master planners on outsourcing needs and establish blanket purchase orders and VMI.
• Identify and lead initiatives to improve the supply-chain process.
• Support customers and lead supplier selection with pricing information.
• Maintain supply chain application systems.
