Caterpillar is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst in East Peoria, IL to perform operational and tactical work ensuring plant material deliverables. You will process job requisitions and support supply chain, sourcing, cost analyses and PO generation.

Role requires a Bachelor's in Supply Chain or related field and strong analytical and project-management skills. This onsite position includes relocation assistance and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent experience desired.
• Analytical thinking to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Knowledge of logistics, MRP, and supply chain management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Work with master planners on outsourcing needs; establish blanket purchase orders and VMI.
• Identify and lead initiatives to improve the supply-chain process.
• Support customers and lead proposal efforts with pricing information and supplier selection.
• Maintain supply chain application systems.
